The Mothers’ Mental Health  Toolkit was developed as a public resource for community service providers and families for education, advocacy and treatment support for mothers with mental health problems.

Research in maternal mental health provides a clear call for the importance of increased support and intervention for the higher risk women and children.   The toolkit is a hopeful first step toward a broad engagement of service providers and community resources in the promotion of mothers’ wellness and
advancement.  The workbook  and training format includes materials for mental health promotion, education, screening, intervention and advocacy.
